Netflix's ADOLESCENCE

There's some buzz afoot about the recently released Netflix miniseries ADOLESCENCE. I haven't watched it yet but it's on my list. I understand that it may be helpful in understanding and accepting why some of our adult children are everything we could want in adult children and why some of our adult children are angry and estranged from us.

All of them were raised with our values, with our involved time, money and all the love we had to give.

Our children are the source of our greatest joys, and their accomplishments fill us with pride. But they can also be the source of our greatest anguish and sorrow.

We made all of them: the ones who loves us back and the ones who say they hate us and estrange themselves from us.
